About Us
Situated on 100 acres in the rolling hills of Howard County, Missouri, Vintage Hill is a beautiful place to raise youngsters for sport. Located approximately 30 miles west of Columbia, Missouri, visitors are welcome by appointment to see firsthand the environment created for young horses to grow and develop under careful supervision. Young horses spend their days out in large pastures with playmates of the same sex/age.
The Vintage Hill focus is on natural exercise, balanced nutrition, proper in-hand handling, routine farrier work, and veterinary care,as well as developing a horse that will be your partner and friend. This focus produces well-behaved, sound bodies and minds and thus horses ready for the demands of competition or breeding.
Our riding horses live in spacious stalls and have the best in care. They have individual paddocks for turnout, and individual daily work routines, involving indoor and outdoor schooling. Two outdoor arenas, 100 acres of riding space and a 21x43m insulated indoor school with excellent footing allows for year round training opportunities.
